GWA Auctioneers and Valuers is part of the Gateway Group of companies, which has been trading since 2002.

Our specialised corporate recovery and insolvency team is headed up by David Sunderland and Peter Sayle who between them have amassed a wealth of experience and knowledge of the vast array of industries they have been dealing with over the years. In addition we can offer a secure sales facility, based in Gisburn, Lancashire, which benefits from around 3 acres of hardstanding, an 8000sq/ft sales room and parking for over 500 visiting vehicles.

Another Gateway Group company, Gateway Auctions, is well established with the valuation and disposal of construction machinery and equipment. Our expertise in the valuation and disposal of machines from this sector is second to none.

Our rapidly expanding client portfolio is testament to the quality services we provide on a national and international level and we are currently looking at expansion across the North West.

Valuation Reports

Our valuation reports are produced in accordance with the RICS Valuation Standards. Whether it be a desktop valuation, a valuation of assets for restructuring purposes through to a full stock analysis valuation report for asset based lending, you can be confident that we have the expertise and knowledge to produce a report of the highest standard. We understand that in most cases time is of the essence and work hard to turn the report around as quickly as possible to allow our clients to act on the information we provide.

Case Management

In some instances in the corporate recovery markets there is a need for GWA to act as an extension of our clients team and to assist in the day to day running’s of an administration or liquidation. We are “insolvency savvy” and understand the difficulties in dealing with certain issues and are in turn capable to work at whatever level of involvement is required.

Asset Disposals

The team at GWA Auctioneers and Valuers is capable of dealing with all types of assets, disposing of them in many different ways. We have a purpose built auction facility which we hold regular auctions from and also have the mobile systems available to hold live auctions on site. We currently hold a number of auctions online and see it as a growing and efficient technique of sales as the eBay mentality works its way into industry. In some cases the maximum realisations are achievable are by sales on a private treaty basis, especially where equipment is of a specialist nature. Whatever your asset disposal requirements we can advise you and carry out the best possible method to allow maximum realisation form the assets.
